Empowered by Horses Workshop Series
"A great opportunity by making a difference in your life one hoof beat at a time!"
Communication is comprised of both verbal and nonverbal languages. Masters of the nonverbal components, working with horses will shed light on how our individual selves communicate nonverbally and what reactions from others we can expect, observe, and relate to. This workshop will assist to gain insight to areas which may need more attention when communicating. Whether this insight is directed towards a spouse, partner or family member, or towards colleagues and coworkers, communication is a key component of any relationship.
Nonverbal communication has been divided into three categories: context, clusters, and congruence. Context relates to the environment, clusters relates to a combination of nonverbal cues to determine the emotion or mood of an individual, and congruence focuses on the verbal tone matching the clusters or the actions. Although non-determinant, gaining awareness of our own categories in relation to nonverbal communication will increase our understanding of what may be going on in a given situation.
This workshop will be facilitated with the EAGALA model. All activities with the horses are done on the ground - NO RIDING - no previous horse experience required.
Workshops will be facilitated at our farm facility at 7405 Third Line Rd. S. Kars, ON, K0A 2E0
