Four-Week equine experiential psychotherapy group for teens age 13 - 19
Living with obesity is not easy at any age, and particularly difficult for children and teens who are developing their identity and may be experiencing being teased or bullied.
Our EAGALA model equine experiential psychotherapy program is to provide a foundation for positive self development and learning so teens are more resilient and better able to cope with everyday stressors of life and living with and treating obesity.
Topics for this series include: Recognizing and communicating feelings, improving body image, being assertive in communicating, coping skills.
This workshop will be facilitated with the EAGALA model. All activities with the horses are done on the ground - NO RIDING - no previous horse experience required.
Workshops will be facilitated at our farm facility at 7405 Third Line Rd. S. Kars, ON, K0A 2E0
Please dress according to the weather. Workshops will be facilitated in our indoor arena and outdoor arena with the horses.
